The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional customer service and managing front desk operations at the gym. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES General ?Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner. ?Check in members using membership software or ID cards. ?Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about gym services, hours, and pricing. ?Schedule appointments for personal training or fitness classes. ?Register new members and explain membership plans and policies. ?Process payments for memberships, classes, and merchandise. ?Update and maintain accurate member records. ?Handle membership renewals, cancellations, and freeze requests. ?Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable. ?Monitor gym access to ensure only authorized individuals enter. ?Receive and log deliveries or stock (e.g., supplements, gear). ?Assist with selling gym merchandise or refreshments. ?Notify members of class changes, cancellations, or promotions. ?Support other gym staff as needed with administrative or customer service tasks. ?Follow health, safety, and emergency procedures when required.

BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Receptionist or in a front desk role. Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and data entry. Strong sales skills with the ability to promote gym services and merchandise. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. Displays proper front desk etiquette and professionalism.
