Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook traditional Lebanese dishes, ensuring authenticity and quality in every dish.
- Design and develop innovative menu items that appeal to our clientele while maintaining traditional flavors.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain proper stock.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food storage areas.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement promotional menu items and specials.
- Engage with guests to provide an exceptional dining experience and gather feedback.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and continuously seek to improve culinary skills.
Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably specializing in Lebanese cuisine.
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Lebanese cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in menu planning, costing, and inventory management.
- Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment is preferred.
- Exposure to diverse culinary techniques and modern gastronomy is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
- Annual salary: Competitive package 1200 in Bahraini dinars (BHD).
