Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook traditional Lebanese dishes, ensuring authenticity and quality in every dish.
  • Design and develop innovative menu items that appeal to our clientele while maintaining traditional flavors.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain proper stock.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food storage areas.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement promotional menu items and specials.
  • Engage with guests to provide an exceptional dining experience and gather feedback.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and continuously seek to improve culinary skills.


Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef, preferably specializing in Lebanese cuisine.
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional Lebanese cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in menu planning, costing, and inventory management.
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Exposure to diverse culinary techniques and modern gastronomy is a plus.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Annual salary: Competitive package 1200 in Bahraini dinars (BHD).
