Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Job Overview:

Our client seeks a professional Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team in Bahrain. The role involves conducting feasibility studies, creating financial models, evaluating PPP projects, and managing investment portfolios.

Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally with a background in a top-tier consulting or auditing firm or experience in a PPP company (such as those in the infrastructure or development sectors).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of new projects, particularly in the infrastructure and PPP sectors.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
• Evaluate new PPP projects by analyzing their financial structure, risks, returns, and alignment with strategic goals.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for portfolio management, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and risk mitigation.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand project needs and deliver actionable financial insights.
• Monitor ongoing projects, ensuring financial performance is on track, and provide timely reporting to senior management.
• Assist in investment decision-making, presenting clear and concise financial reports to executives and investors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial models align with operational and strategic goals.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 3 years in a similar role related to PPP projects or infrastructure finance.
• Experience in feasibility studies, financial modeling, and portfolio management.
• A degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; professional certifications (CFA, CPA, etc.) are a plus.
• Strong background in financial analysis and a deep understanding of the PPP framework.
• Experience working with top-tier accounting or auditing firms or PPP companies is highly desirable.
• Previous exposure to PPP projects or similar industries will be a distinct advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools; experience with financial analysis software is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with senior management and external stakeholders.
