• Develop olfactive pyramids to represent perfumes’ fragrance notes
• Read and identify GC-MS reports of synthetic materials, essential oils and final products
• Evaluation of raw materials and fragrances
• Perform tests and generate internal reports and for external registration purposes
• Develop MSDS report and complete products registration with ministry of environment Bahrain
• Co-ordination with ADSL UK/accredited labs, ESMA UAE and SASO etc. for products registration according to applicable regulation
• Production planning
• Stay abreast with receipt/transit of upcoming raw materials for effective production planning and scheduling of new product launch
• Mixing of all kinds of ingredients like essential oils, gels, bakhoors, and solid perfumes
• Effective control of mixing activities including production of essential oils and mixing of alcohol for sprays
• Keep up with ISO, GMP, EMS and OHSMS standards and to ensure compliance throughout the production process.
• Estimation of quantity of perfume oils needed for manufacturing of particular products and control on wastage & shrinkages.
• Effective implementation of regular production schedule and modification if and when required.
• Maintain the buffer level of incoming raw materials
• Verification of production slip and initiation of purchase requests to ensure timely arrival of raw material to get aligned with production schedule timeline.

Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry
• 5-10 Years of experience in perfumery industry on a relevant designation
• In depth understanding of relevant documentation and regulatory requirements of perfume industries.
• Experience in GC-MS reporting
• Experience in Olfactive pyramids
• In depth knowledge of QMS obligations and requirements in perfume industry
