Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Business Analyst at FLOOSS in Capital Governorate, Bahrain. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders and the development team. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of translating business needs into actionable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business objectives, processes, and requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Define and document business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to elicit requirements and capture user stories.
- Map out and document user workflows, ensuring that all processes are aligned with the product objectives
- Analyze and validate data to ensure accuracy and completeness, and identify trends and insights to inform decision-making.
- Work closely with the development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in the design and testing phases of projects (UAT), ensuring that deliverables meet the defined requirements as well troubleshooting issues during the development lifecycle.
- Identify and communicate potential risks and issues, and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project implementation.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis.
- Conduct research on market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for innovation and product enhancement. Provide insights that support product positioning, features, and long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques.
- Experience with process modeling, data analysis, PIVOT tables.
- Experience JIRA for project management, including the creation and management of tickets to track tasks and issues effectively.
- Experienced in creating user stories that effectively capture requirements and user needs, ensuring alignment with project goals and facilitating clear communication among stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
- Knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.
- Basic understanding of user stories, workflows, and application testing.
