Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible to provide the planned support to the Data Analytics team to ensure continuity of knowledge and traction on this important transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with Data Analytics team to determine end-state requirements and to build the reporting capabilities to enable efficient date retrieval for the front office.
- Ensure all reports are coded and in compliance with regulations.
- Provide accurate analytical reports to the management as and when required.
- Build exception reports to ensure transactional bookings are accurate.
- Provide coding support to build GL proofing capabilities to monitor any unusual activity on the balance sheet to control and detect incorrect behavior.
- Provide coding support to automate trend reports and budget comparison reporting to provide insight into activities (income and expense based).
- Provide coding support to build customer profitability reporting capability to provide the bank’s management, relationship managers and Chiefs with insight as to the contribution from each Relationship Manager and customer.
- Provide coding support to build budget/forecast model (using Artificial Intelligence) to automate the production of annual budgets.
- Use business minded acumen to redesign and digitize the processes to enhance accuracy, timeliness and repeatability.
- Convert the manual methods to modern and data-rich environment
- Support internal stakeholders (self-service MIS for all unit heads and teams) and external stakeholders (full automation of CBB, CBUAE, SAMA prudential returns).
- Provide all employees access to the correct level of information at the correct time to enhance decision making of ‘production of numbers’ in terms of analyzing the data and providing insights (financial and non-financial).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or in any other related discipline is required.
- Professional qualifications in related field is preferred.
