Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facility Engineer to join our team. The Facility Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facility systems and infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Operations: Oversee and perform routine maintenance and repair of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- System Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all facility operations comply with relevant regulations and safety standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits.
- Project Management: Lead and manage facility-related projects, including upgrades, renovations, and new installations. Coordinate with contractors and vendors as necessary.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to facility systems promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance. Prepare reports and documentation as required.
- Budget Management: Assist in budgeting and forecasting for facility-related expenses. Manage resources effectively to stay within budgetary constraints.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., PE, CFM) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management or engineering, with a proven track record of managing facility systems and projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Proficiency in facility management software is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
