Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee all catering events from start to finish
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and customize catering services accordingly
- Manage catering staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure high-quality food preparation, presentation, and service standards are met
- Monitor and control catering budgets and expenses
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure the availability of quality ingredients and supplies
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in food preparation and service
Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field
- Proven experience as a Catering Manager or relevant role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in catering for events of various sizes and types
- Proficiency in menu planning and food costing
- Experience working with diverse teams and clientele
