Head Pastry Chef - Central Kitchen

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the pastry department within the central kitchen.
  • Create and develop innovative pastry recipes ensuring high quality and consistency.
  • Supervise the pastry team, provide training, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to plan and execute pastry production based on business needs.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment in the pastry kitchen.


Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
  • Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or Pastry Making.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and creativity in pastry designs.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pastry production.
  • Experience working in a central kitchen environment preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful pastry menu development.
  • Experience in managing a team of pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
