Main Duties:
Supervise Quality Assurance personnel as per directives.
Implement and monitor ISO 22000/HACCP standards.
Conduct regular inspections of catering areas and coordinate remedial actions.
Properly file ISO 22000/HACCP documents.
Investigate customer complaints and ensure corrective actions.
Support customer audits, ensuring high hygiene standards and document readiness.
Report building or equipment defects and food safety issues to SQA.
Perform regular checks on food safety parameters like storage and cooking
temperatures.
Monitor meal specifications and adherence.
Conduct quality audits at supplier premises.
Advise staff on personal hygiene in food handling.
Monitor food handling from receipt to dispatch, emphasizing refrigeration and
cleanliness.
Ensure training and up-to-date records for staff on hygiene and food safety.
Ensure compliance with allergen control procedures.
Comply with health, safety, and security regulations.
Work Contacts: Close contact with production, maintenance, supply, stores, and
occasionally suppliers.
Supervision: Limited supervision based on tasks from SQA.
Safety & Security: Implement safety and security measures at the airport.
Work Environment: Exposure to varying temperatures in catering facilities.
Skills
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Secondary School education (12 years) and a diploma or course in Food
Technology/Safety.
Experience: 3-5 years in a supervisory role in the food industry, including HACCP
and ISO standards.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to work in a
culturally diverse environment with a flexible schedule.
