Executive Chef - Standalone

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the culinary team in a standalone restaurant setting.
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Ensure high-quality food standards are maintained and meet customers' expectations.
  • Manage inventory, control food costs, and optimize kitchen operations for efficiency.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and culinary techniques.



Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in culinary arts and kitchen management.
  • Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a culinary team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience working in standalone restaurants or fine dining establishments.
  • Previous experience in creating and executing innovative menus.
  • Familiarity with Bahraini cuisine and local ingredients is a plus.
