A leader in industrial services across the Gulf, our client boasts a wealth of experience and expertise in delivering top-tier solutions. They are currently looking for a Procurement Officer to be based in Bahrain.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Find and research qualified suppliers for goods & services.
• Negotiate contracts to secure the best terms (price, delivery, payment).
• Create & manage purchase orders outlining product details, quantities & timelines.
• Track inventory to ensure timely procurement and avoid stockouts.
• Process invoices and payments according to agreed-upon terms.
• Obtain competitive bids for cost-effective purchasing.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies & external regulations.
• Manage procurement risks (delays, quality issues, price fluctuations).
• Maintain accurate documentation for all procurement activities.
• Stay informed about market trends & relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with internal departments on procurement needs.
• Possession of a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or an equivalent field.
• Ideally, the candidate should be female of Indian, Pakistani, or Sri Lankan descent.
• Must be currently residing in Bahrain or have prior experience working in Bahrain.
• Preferably, the candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in Construction/Industrial Services.
• Proficient in negotiation, contract management, tender preparation, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with local suppliers of construction and industrial materials and equipment in Bahrain.
• Capable of working well under pressure.
• Available to work six days a week.

• Salary from 400 to 450 all inclusive (Based on experience and if found fit for the above-mentioned criteria negotiable)
