Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant operations
- Supervise and coordinate staff members, ensuring that they provide excellent customer service
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper stock levels
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues promptly
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff
- Contribute to the development of menu items by providing feedback and suggestions
Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a management role within the restaurant industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and culture is preferred
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant setting
