Cashier

We are looking for a friendly and reliable cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, answer menu questions, and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Accurately processes transactions, handles exchanges/refunds and manages cash register operations.
• Take and relay orders to kitchen staff, ensure timely and correct preparation.
• Balance cash register, prepare daily cash reports, and ensure accurate cash deposits.
• Maintain a clean checkout and dining area, and report equipment issues.
• Work with kitchen/wait staff, and assist in training new employees.
• Handle phone orders/inquiries, attend meetings/training, and perform other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred; restaurant experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, numerical accuracy, proficiency with POS systems, and basic computer skills.
• Friendly, approachable, reliable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
