Role Overview
We’re looking for a Procurement Specialist to source non-food items for our new product launches and marketing campaigns. You’ll be working closely with our Marketing team to source the required materials, search for suppliers, collect samples, and share a competitive analysis for the different sources.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with the marketing team on finding suppliers, sourcing samples, and testing new merch materials/printed materials/brochures required for marketing campaigns
- Share the estimated cost of new materials with a competitive analysis of different sources
- Propose alternative solutions for the requested materials based on the team’s needs
- Act as the connection point between the Marketing team and product supply team through finding and qualifying new materials
- Form a basic knowledge of the material qualification process
- Initiate and manage supplier relationships to support marketing projects & initiatives
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or any related field
- Relevant experience in Procurement or Supply Chain is a plus
- Tech-savvy
- Proficiency in English and preferably in Arabic as well
- Must have a valid driving license in Bahrain
Knowledge & Competency
- Ability to move fast when sourcing new materials and sharing samples with the team
- Flexible, results-oriented, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to source locally and internationally for specialized products
- Basic knowledge of the procurement process is preferable
