You will work within the Global Compliance team with a specific focus on regulatory compliance and AML/CTF initiatives in EMEA, with a direct line to the Co-founder in charge of compliance. Your Responsibilities Will Be as Follows

• Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the organization operates in accordance with relevant laws and regulation, and ensure that they are updated
• Liaise with and be a key point of contact with local financial services authority. Responsible for ensuring timely reporting and filing.
• Responsible for leading the initiative behind regulatory license applications
• Communicate with top management team how newly implemented regulations can affect the business services and products
• Be the direct point of contact for money laundering and escalation matters
• Advise the team regarding compliance matters pertaining to product launches, improvements, and automation
• Develop and implement AML Risk Management programs, risk, and controls and to conduct regular AML risk assessment.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of system and policies regarding money laundering and compliance
• Liaise with local regulators, authorities, and report of breaches

• Cryptocurrency background or experience
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in financial industry regulation within the anti-money laundering, compliance, and audit field
• Knowledge of local licence application, regulation and rules
• Experience in operating in environment with multiple regulators and familiar with reporting requirements
• Experienced in drafting, implementing and execution of compliance agenda and plans
• Proactive, flexible and able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of initiative, planning and organizational skills, attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic team player and self-motivated.
• Local language is a must. Fluent in English. Any other language will be considered an asset.
