<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Job Description VAM Systems is currently looking for System Developer for our Bahrain operations.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Develop and maintain applications using Laravel Core & PHP 8.x (OOP, MVC, Routing, Middleware, Artisan CLI).</li><li>Design and optimize backend systems with Eloquent ORM, migrations, and seeders.</li><li>Implement frontend integration using Blade templating, JavaScript (Vue.js/React), and CSS frameworks (Bootstrap).</li><li>Build and secure RESTful APIs with authentication (Sanctum/Passport) and protection against vulnerabilities (SQL injection, CSRF).</li><li>Ensure clean code practices (PSR standards), documentation, and automated testing.</li><li>Collaborate with teams via Git, explain technical concepts to non technical stakeholders, and contribute to project success.</li><li>Troubleshoot and debug complex performance bottlenecks.</li><li>Support DevOps activities including Docker, Laravel Forge, CI/CD pipelines, and application troubleshooting in AWS Cloud.</li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>Strong professional experience in Laravel/PHP development and related frameworks.</li><li>Hands on expertise in backend, frontend, and API security.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to produce high quality code repositories with testing and documentation.</li><li>Relevant professional certifications in software development, cloud, or DevOps tools (preferred).</li><li>Experience working in collaborative environments, with strong communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Problem solving and debugging complex issues.</li><li>Familiarity with AWS Cloud environments for deployment and troubleshooting.</li><li>Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).</li><li>Strong portfolio showcasing GitLab/GitHub repositories with clean, documented code.</li></ul><p></p></section>
