Operate the de-coiler machine to unwind and feed steel coils into the production line as per production requirements. Load, secure, and align steel coils using appropriate lifting equipment, ensuring safe and accurate machine setup. Monitor coil feeding, material alignment, and machine performance to ensure uninterrupted production. Perform routine machine inspections, lubrication, and basic maintenance, and report any faults to the maintenance team. Inspect the material for defects and ensure the correct coil specifications are used in accordance with production drawings and work orders. Follow safety procedures, maintain housekeeping standards, and coordinate with production and maintenance teams to achieve daily production targets.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma/ITI in Mechanical or a related trade with 3 5 years of experience operating de-coiler or coil feeding machines in a steel processing or fabrication industry. Knowledge of steel coil handling, measuring instruments, basic machine maintenance, and safe workshop practices is required.
