We are seeking a Jira Analyst to drive reporting accuracy, data quality, and delivery insights across our Agile organisation. This individual will partner closely with Scrum Leads, Product teams, and key stakeholders to establish a unified view of work, improve Jira data integrity, and develop actionable reporting that supports decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong Jira reporting expertise, experience building dashboards and metrics, and the ability to identify data quality gaps and implement improvements. This role will play a key part in creating a consistent and reliable view of delivery performance across teams.
Key Responsibilities Jira Reporting & Insights Develop and maintain Jira dashboards, reports, and metrics to provide meaningful visibility into delivery performance. Create a consolidated, organisation-wide view of work across teams and programmes. Analyse Jira data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Data Quality & Governance Identify and remediate Jira data quality issues. Establish reporting standards and best practices across teams. Monitor data completeness and accuracy to ensure reliable reporting. Drive consistency in Jira usage and workflow management.
Agile Delivery Partnership Partner closely with Scrum Leads and Agile teams to improve data quality and reporting adoption. Support teams in maintaining accurate backlog, sprint, and delivery data. Help ensure alignment between reporting requirements and Agile delivery processes.
Dashboard & Tooling Development Build and optimise interactive dashboards and reporting solutions. Create linkages between Jira and other reporting or AI-enabled tools where appropriate. Continuously enhance reporting capabilities to improve stakeholder visibility and decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience:Strong experience working with Jira reporting and analytics. Experience building dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reporting. Ability to identify and resolve data quality issues within Jira environments. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum delivery frameworks. Experience partnering with Scrum Masters, Scrum Leads, Product Managers, or Engineering teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Experience:Experience integrating Jira with reporting, BI, or AI tools. Exposure to dashboard platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar. Experience supporting large-scale Agile delivery organisations. Familiarity with automation and workflow optimisation within Jira.
