- Set departmental goals and objectives aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives.
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to the drivers' team.
Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the drivers' department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, taking proactive measures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to driver safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Driver Recruitment and Training:
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified and skilled drivers.
- Oversee the driver onboarding process, including training, orientation, and necessary documentation.
- Implement ongoing training programs to enhance driver skills, safety, and customer service.
Performance Management:
- Establish performance standards and metrics for drivers.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Recognize and reward outstanding driver performance and address any performance or disciplinary issues promptly.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between drivers, other departments, and management.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operations.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.( min 15 years )More than 45 years oldProven experience in a leadership role within the transportation or logistics industry.Strong knowledge of driver operations, regulations, and best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
