Sierra focuses on valve manufacturing and related engineering services, allowing Greater Cairo Foundries to optimize its production of pipes and fittings.

Role Description

Sierra Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking a Full-time Quality Section Head to join our team on-site in Qesm El Obour. The Quality Section Head will oversee and manage the daily activities of the Quality Department, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures for quality control and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will provide strategic planning and leadership, as well as collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and management teams to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
• 9+ years of experience in a quality control leadership role in a manufacturing environment (Steel)
• Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control programs and systems such as ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the following quality tools: Control Plans, Process Capability Studies, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects through implementation and continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience leading and training teams
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings and specifications.
