We're looking for a talented Architect/ Interior Designer to join a local design studio in Bahrain. In this role, you'll be working closely with our clients to design spaces that are not only functional, but also visually appealing. Whether you're transforming offices, retail spaces, or unique client projects, you'll be involved in every step from ideation to execution. Main Responsibilities:
- Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their vision, needs, and goals. You'll be the go-to person for turning their ideas into beautiful, functional designs
- Space Planning & Design: Develop innovative design concepts that reflect the client's brand, culture, and functionality. Your goal is to create spaces that are both inspiring and efficient
- Project Management: Oversee multiple client projects from start to finish. This includes managing timelines, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- 3D Visualization & Concept Development: Create detailed sketches and visual prototypes to communicate design ideas clearly to clients. Your designs will help clients visualize their space before it's built
- Material & Furniture Selection: Source and recommend materials, finishes, and furniture that fit the project's aesthetic and functional requirements while staying within budget
- Client Presentations & Feedback: Present design ideas to clients and incorporate their feedback to refine and finalize the project. You'll be guiding clients through every decision to ensure they're excited about the outcome
Tools You'll Be Using:
- AutoCAD / Revit: To create detailed floor plans, layouts, and 3D models for client projects
- SketchUp / Rhino / 3ds Max: Visualization tools to help bring your design concepts to life
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign): For editing and creating design materials to showcase to clients
Requirements
- Educational Background: A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in interior design or architecture, ideally with client-facing responsibilities. If you've worked in an agency or design studio before, that's a bonus!
- Creative Problem-Solver: You can think outside the box to develop unique and effective design solutions that meet client needs
- Excellent Communication Skills: You're comfortable presenting ideas to clients, gathering feedback, and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Attention to Detail: You manage multiple projects at once and have a keen eye for detail to ensure everything is executed perfectly
