Role Summary:
The Project Engineer will execute and oversee large fit-out projects independently, with minimal supervision from the Project Manager.
Role Description:
- Complete management of projects onsite, from taking possession of the unit from the client to site handover.
- Coordinating and controlling planning, design, estimating, contracting, and construction activities to ensure efficient operations.
- Preparing weekly site plans in advance, monitoring daily progress, and reporting to the Project Manager.
- Studying project drawings and specifications and collaborating closely with MEP and other stakeholders.
Personal Qualities:
The ideal candidate for the Project Engineer role should possess the following skills, personal qualities, and experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with 5 years' experience in fit-out contracting companies
- Proven track record of working on large-scale fit-out projects, e.g., hospitality, hotels, high-end residential, palaces, villas, F&B, retail, entertainment, healthcare, education, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a multinational environment.
