A leading manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Factory Head of Maintenance to join our team. As the Factory Head of Maintenance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal functioning, reliability, and safety of our factory equipment and infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and reliable operations of factory equipment and facilities.
- Lead and inspire a team of maintenance technicians and staff, by providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance, to minimize production disruptions and maximize equipment uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance work, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effective management.
- Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics.
- Identify and address equipment performance issues, safety concerns, and process improvements in collaboration with engineering, operations, and safety departments.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including cost control measures, vendor contracts, and procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards in all maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in maintenance management and implement relevant improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, specialization in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering is preferred.
- Proven 7 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, with a track record of successfully leading maintenance teams.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and procedures specific to factory equipment and machinery.
- Familiarity with CMMS software and other maintenance management tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to maintenance operations in a factory setting.
