Fabrication Supervisor

Responsibilities: Direct and oversee the fabrication of steel structures, ducts, and pressure vessels to ensure projects are completed to specifications, on time, and within budget. Ensure all fabrication work meets ASME standards for S, U, and R stamps, and comply with safety and quality protocols. Conduct regular inspections and enforce strict adherence to quality control measures. Supervise the selection and use of materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, alloy, and Hastelloy steel, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards. Lead and manage a team of fabricators and welders, providing training, setting goals, and evaluating performance to promote a productive and positive work environment. Implement and oversee strict safety guidelines and practices within the facility, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other workers to ensure projects are aligned with client requirements, adjusting fabrication plans as needed. Provide technical guidance and support to the team, resolving issues related to fabrication processes and techniques. Maintain accurate records of projects, including specifications, material usage, inspections, and final outcomes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a fabrication environment, specifically with experience in steel structures, ducts, and pressure vessels fabrication. ASME certification and familiarity with S, U, and R stamp requirements are essential. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Solid understanding of welding techniques and metallurgy, particularly with mild steel, stainless steel, alloy, and Hastelloy steel. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving project goals. In-deph knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a fabrication environment. Certification in health and safety training is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a high-pressure environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and external stakeholders. Job Type: Full-time Experience:
