Senior Supply Chain Manager

Job Brief:<br/><br/>To guide and direct overall supply chain strategy and business operations for the group which includes procurement, warehousing and distribution, inventory control and distribution of materials.<br/><br/>Major Accountabilities:<br/><br/>Strategic sourcing, procurement, and storage (warehousing) of pharmaceutical, medical consumables and medical equipment<br/><br/>Manage supplier key account and stakeholder relations.<br/><br/>Monitor and manage governance and risks associated with master data/price file and central profile.<br/><br/>To manage and mitigate financial risks related to supply chain management in the Hospital.<br/><br/>Lead and manage the team efficiently and effectively.<br/><br/>Build and maintain strategic relationships with relevant internal and external key account stakeholders.<br/><br/>Leverage on key stakeholder relationships to solve daily operational supply chain challenges.<br/><br/>Enhance savings through effective and efficient stakeholder relationships.<br/><br/>Ensure compliance with group naming conventions and procurement data requirements and initiatives.<br/><br/>Establish controls and metrics to monitor the accuracy of product master and price file data.<br/><br/>Drive and support reporting designed to assist business with stock and procurement optimization and efficiencies.<br/><br/>Ensure operational compliance to internal policies, practices and local and international regulatory requirements.<br/><br/>Participate and monitor results of re<br/><br/>gular audits, both internal and external.<br/><br/>Negotiate third party agreements and formalize contracts in collaboration with the legal department.<br/><br/>Negotiate, compile and contract Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and monitor compliance to agreed service delivery standards.<br/><br/>Investigate relevant high-risk incidents and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented to prevent or limit repetition.<br/><br/>Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation, policies and procedures.<br/><br/>Provide input into CAPEX and OPEX budgeting figures.<br/><br/>Define relevant procurement metrics and establish internal benchmarking to pro-actively identify potential financial risk for the company<br/><br/>Process in place to monitor and manage the potential of conflict of interest.<br/><br/>Ensure that performance management contracts are in place for direct reports<br/><br/>Co-ordinate development and training opportunities for the team and monitor progress<br/><br/>Identify and develop talent for future succession<br/><br/>Pro-actively gain input from HR to recruit and select the right employees at the right time<br/><br/>Job Requirements:<br/><br/>At least 5-8 years’ procurement management experience in a Healthcare environment<br/><br/>A relevant Bachelor Degree in commerce, accounting or procurement field<br/><br/>#J-18808-Ljbffr
