Key Responsibilities:
  • Learning & Development: Create and implement custom learning programs tailored to the needs of luxury hospitality. Focus on enhancing employee capabilities in customer service, sustainability practices, and operational efficiency, ensuring that these programs are engaging and effective.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Guide a dynamic team toward educational excellence and professional growth. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, aligning initiatives with the resort's strategic goals and luxury standards.
  • Performance Management: Utilize systems to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, applying data-driven insights for continuous refinement and improvement. Assist Department Heads in identifying SMART and compelling goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various departments to understand their learning needs, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure integrated learning and development strategies.
  • Strategic Planning & Innovation: Develop a long-term learning and development strategy that supports the resort's vision for luxury hospitality, responsive to changing industry trends and employee needs. Stay informed about the latest developments in educational technologies and methodologies.
  • Budget Management & Resource Optimization: Manage the learning budget efficiently, maximizing resource utilization while maintaining high-quality programs within a cost-effective framework.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all learning programs adhere to industry standards and legal regulations, promoting ethical learning practices and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a relevant role, with extensive experience in luxury hospitality.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Luxury Hospitality: Significant experience in creating customized learning programs in luxury hospitality, focusing on enhancing key skills for luxury service.
  • Communication Skills:  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring a diverse workforce. Excellent email etiquette.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, with Arabic proficiency being an advantage.
