Job Description
We are looking for a talented and motivated IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows Server and domain management, network infrastructure, firewall configurations, Microsoft Azure Domain, Microsoft Teams, Hyper-V infrastructure, and VPNs. Experience with Microsoft Intune, DLP solutions, 802.1 standards, remote access solutions, and network security/vulnerabilities is highly desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Your Responsibilities as an IT Systems Administrator will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Windows Server and Domain Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.
- Oversee Windows domain installations and provide ongoing maintenance.
- Network Infrastructure:
- Lead the installation and configuration of network infrastructure components.
- Manage day-to-day network operations to ensure optimal performance.
- Firewall Configuration:
- Configure and maintain firewalls to enhance network security.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents related to firewall activities.
- Microsoft Azure Domain and Teams:
- Manage Microsoft Azure Domain services and ensure seamless integration.
- Facilitate deployment, administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Teams.
- Hyper-V Infrastructure:
- Administer and maintain Hyper-V virtualization infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize virtual machine performance.
- VPNs:
- Implement and manage VPN solutions for secure remote access.
- Troubleshoot VPN issues and ensure connectivity for remote users.
- Business Continuity and Security:
- Develop and implement Business Continuity Plans to ensure system availability.
- Contribute to creation and enforcement of security policies.
- Assist in managing data protection policies and practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in Windows Server administration and network management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in configuration of network infrastructure, routers, switches, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting network and system issues.
- Strong documentation skills and commitment to continuous learning.
Bonus Skill Set:
- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Linux) or other network-related fields is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune for device management.
- Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
- Experience with 802.1 standards for network protocols.
- Proficiency in implementing and supporting remote access solutions.
