About The Job:
Leading the electrical maintenance team for the maintenance, installation, testing, overhauling, and modification activities on the plant, including VFDs , ATS, DC systems ( UPSs , Batteries, Converters, chargers, ATS , … ) by standard maintenance procedures, HSE guidelines, and quality standards to maintain effective functionality and reliability, with a minimum 12 years of experience ..
Key Accountabilities:-
- Lead and execute the routine, corrective maintenance of VFDs & DC systems ( UPSs , Batteries, Converters, chargers, ATS , … ), and apply technical craft, techniques, and processes.
- Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non-conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions.
- To prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts & consumables, and service scopes, ensuring budgetary constraints and arranging strategic spares availability to cope with maintenance requirements.
- Acquires considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant systems throughout the plant, applies the same to troubleshoot problems, and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issues.
- Executes work orders through (SAP) and co-ordinates with the power service team for job completion and technical matters.
- To report to the Maintenance Manager for daily activities spare parts and consumables in the department to update spares availability to cope up with the maintenance requirements.
- Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessments are carried out, controlled and updated.
- Provide necessary resources for effective implementation of maintenance programs.
- Identify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions.
- Carry out annual performance evaluations of reporting employees.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to legal requirements, contractual and organizational requirements with respect to their scope of activities
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees and evaluate their OJT Performance.
- Identification, documentation, and control of hazards in assigned work areas.
- Report deviations in the Integrated Management System & identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Reporting of emergency incidents and near misses.
- Effective resource utilization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
