• Keeping track of changes in the legal framework providing timely updates on these changes and following up with outside counsel for this purpose.
• Keep legal documents organized and archived for completed and ongoing cases handled by attorneys in the legal department.
• Develop legal arguments through research and fact-finding investigations.
• Conduct research, investigate facts, and develop legal arguments.
• Assist with managing various corporate transactions, including drafting and formatting contracts, securing required signatures, and obtaining necessary approvals.
• Summarize existing company contracts and facilitate their upload into the designated contract management system.
• Assist with amendments to ownership, management, and signatory status of the Company.
• Ensure corporate compliance with all applicable legal and statutory regulations.
• Establish an electronic filing system for document management for the Legal Department.
• Oversee the maintenance of the Company’s trademark database and the protection and registration of trademarks for the Company.
• Interact with and maintain the relationship with Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, coordinate the registration of agency agreements at that Ministry, and maintain the database of registration certificates.
• Maintain relevant corporate files for the Company in Kuwait and Worldwide, including Memorandum Articles of Association, and registration certificates.
• Create, maintain, and update records of all powers of attorney.
