Job description<\/h4>\n

Works under close guidance and supervision of the Chef de Partie
\nPrepares mis-en-place according to standard recipes
\nIs required to know basic cooking methods
\nObserves and tastes food items when being cooked
\nTake notes and records all recipes in your own recipe book
\nAssists in the preparation of functions and buffets
\nTransports food to and from outlets
\nCleans and maintains work areas, equipment, utensils, and cold rooms at all times
\nAssists Commi and Chef de Partie in performance of his\/her duties
\nWorks continually using the Customer Comes First values
\nPerforms any other duties that may be assigned to him
\nReceives and transports the grocery items ordered by the section from store to kitchen
\nMay be required to take part in hotel\/kitchen training
\nDispenses food only with a micros check or valid captain's order<\/p>\n\n
