DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for OFR Ops Intern in Bahrain. In this specific you will provide day-to-day operation Support with readily advice process and activities to effectively manage the operation, track and trace, customer feedback and general inquiries in line with the business needs, stakeholder requirements, group guidelines and policies.

In this OFR Ops Intern position
Import Shipment Coordination:
- You will assist in managing and tracking ocean import shipments from origin to destination.
- You will communicate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery.
- You will monitor shipment status and resolve any issues that arise during transit by coordinating with shipping lines & DHL Network offices.
Billing and Documentation:
- You will prepare and process billing documents related to ocean freight operations using CW1.
- You will ensure accuracy of freight invoices and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Customer Communication:
- You will provide regular updates to customers regarding shipment status and any changes.
- You will respond to customer inquiries and help as needed.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication.
Team Collaboration:
- You will work closely with senior operations staff to support the overall process.
- You will participate in team meetings and performance dialogues to discuss shipment challenges and solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
- You will identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- You will stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ocean freight operations.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of shipping regulations and practices is a plus.
- A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
