- Department of Medical Biochemistry at College of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Arabian Gulf University, Kingdom of Bahrain seeks applicants for faculty positions at the rank of assistant / associate Professor in Clinical Biochemistry. Candidates are expected to teach medical Biochemistry, and medical genetics to small and large groups of students and to conduct laboratory skill sessions to undergraduate and graduate students. Teaching in a Problem-based Learning curriculum in recognized medical college and good record of publications in peer reviewed journals are required. Having a qualification in medical education is preferable.
- Applicants should have MBBS, and PhD degree or its equivalent (Board certification and fellowship). Candidates will be expected to conduct independent research with intra- or extra-mural funding and to have good records of supervision of postgraduate research projects.
