ROLE PURPOSE:

Administration and Responsibility for all Aspects of Flight Crew Training.

YOUR TASKS:

Main Responsibilities

• The overall conduct and efficiency of all flying training and standardization within the Company. Undertaking the development of an audit program to ensure compliance with relevant ANTR-OPS 1 and Company requirements.
• Managing all training personnel and the associated training budget. Ensuring that courses are cost effective and efficient.
• Planning and developing an Annual Training Plan commensurate with business requirements and liaison with crewing, rostering and administration departments.
• Recommending to the DFO the appointment of training pilots and CRM instructors or examiners.
• Ensuring that the recurrent EBT programme follows the guidance of ICAO Doc 9995.
• Ensuring the licensing administrative procedures are complied with by those TRE's designated to endorse the licence. The FCTM (Flight Crew Training Manager) carries the responsibility of the licence revalidation within the EBT programme.
• The FCTM is responsible for ensuring that the manoeuvres assessed are of a good training value and that the candidate completed those manoeuvres competently.
• Monitoring of alltraining and operational data sources and provide final assessment of the data in reference to EBT.
• Providing training reports as required by the OMD to the BCAA.
• Performing regular self-audits in accordance with the Quality system of those activities that are within his/her area of responsibility to ensure his/her staff are performing their tasks correctly. Record the audit and remedial action taken results where necessary.
• Providing a monthly report.
• Monitor compliance with Company standard operating procedures.
• Supervising flying training and currency records within the Company and ensuring that these are maintained accurately and up to date.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in training department
• Experience at a Managerial level
• TRE/TRI experience is required
• Degree in an Aviation subject is preferred
• Leadership Skills
• Teamwork
• Knowledge of Operations Manuals, in particular the OMD
• Good Communication Skills
• Good Workload Management
• Good CRM Skills
• Fluently spoken and written English.
