N Relocation? N Position Type Non-Management POSITION SUMMARY This position reports to the Fitness Supervisor and works in the Fitness Centre. Primary responsibility is to deliver excellence in quality Fitness services to members/guests/visitors/ in a timely, courteous and efficient manner. These services are inclusive but not limited to providing towels, water bottle, headset, exercise shoes, and other equipment Members/Guests are asking for. Escort clients to and from the fitness facilities and attending to any immediate needs throughout members’/guests’ gym visit. Member/Guest follow-up will be expected. Equipment and exercise knowledge will be a focus to assist in building successful fitness programs. It will be expected of the Floor instructor to cover the Gym floor in the absence of personal trainer and ensure the safe environment inside the gym. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of gym equipment’s. Further tasks will be to ensure cleanliness of all Cardiovascular Machines, Strength Exercise Machines, Free Weights and Racks, and any other Fitness Equipment or facilities that needs attention, inclusive but not limited to floors, walls, windows, window ledges, benches, Squash Court and Fitness Centre Reception Area. Experience Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in similar position with The Ritz-Carlton or similar hotel company Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in performing Group Exercise Classes Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Must possess a current internationally recognized fitness instructor certificate.
