Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing or construction.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is mandatory.
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and implementing effective financial controls. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Job Responsibilities - Verify all sub-contracts related to project.
- Monitoring of all accounts receivables and payables.
- Keep accurate records of all accounts of the project.
- Coordinate all payment matters to the project manager.
- Keeping records of charges to sub-contractors.
- On time salary preparation of all manpower resources.
- Keeping records of equipment charges and manpower rentals, if any.
- Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
- Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
- Assist with financial and tax audits.
- Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
- Assist with quarterly producer commission reports; analyzing and correcting discrepancies.
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
Knowledge And Skills - Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
