Job Description
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities<br/><br/>Lead, manage and contribute to geotechnical investigations and assessments.<br/><br/>Undertake geotechnical assessments using specialized softwares such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, PLAXIS 2D and 3D, Pdisp, Repute and Wallap.<br/><br/>Understand materials testing objectives, construction drawings and design reports to support geotechnical investigation and design recommendations.<br/><br/>Provide guidance and troubleshooting for quality control testing and performance of materials such as soil and concrete.<br/><br/>Contribute to the development of project proposals/cost estimates and participate in the process of securing new business opportunities or expanding the scope of existing projects.<br/><br/>Analyze and prepare recommendations and reports for projects relating to foundation design, infrastructure, shoring, retaining walls, slope stability, road structure design, materials testing, and other geotechnical related projects.
Requirements<br/><br/>Bachelor s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.<br/><br/>6 years Work experience as a Geotechnical Engineer within middle east.<br/><br/>Registered with ICE as chartered engineer is preferred.<br/><br/>Demonstrates organization, team collaboration, proposal and technical writing skills, and excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.<br/><br/>Proficiency in Geotechnical engineering software.<br/><br/>Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.<br/><br/>Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.<br/><br/>Outstanding problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>Exceptional attention to detail.
